Valentines Party 2006 This year we held our annual valentines party at Jacky's Chinese restaurant with 22 Couples attending the function and by all accounts everyone seemed to enjoy the evening. The party go-ers arrived to tables covered with small red heart confetti, a long stem red rose for each lady as well as a gift for each of the ladies. The menu was a typical chinese buffet menu with sweet and sour pork, beef and chicken. The club subsidised the event to the tune of R1600 (desert, coffee, drinks, wine, roses & gifts) Tyre Repair Course 18 4x4 Offroad Adventure Club members attended the Tyre Repair Course hosted by Johann Viljoen at 1st Alignment Centre. The course was a short course of only two hours but covered all aspects of tyre repair including, removing tyres from rims, repairing with plugs and mushroom plugs, working with split rims, repairing tubes, etc. A special thank you to Morne who gave us free access to the notes he had compiled as well as filming the presentation.
