Breakfast Run - 29th October 2006 We started the concept of Breakfast Runs a few months ago and the members have enjoyed a leisurely drive while trying to find the destination following one of Greg's devious sets of instructions and this one was no different. Each time the format of the breakfast run has been slightly different and this time the participants received the directions/instruction via email and the evening before the event got the starting point sms's to them. I set this event out a few weeks ago looking for all the gravel roads between Durbanville, Josstenbergvlakte and Stellenbosch. If one takes the time the whole route can be driven on little backroads, usually access roads to farms. We started in Durbanville and worked our way to Fisantekraal and then past the vegetable farms and stables of the Joostenbergvlakte area and then just before the N1 we veered off to the left and followed a little used road that eventually ends up at the Tygerberg Zoo. from there you can almost smell the brekkies and after crossing the N1 the final destination was the Muldersvlei farmstall and nursery. We managed to get some big tables inside and a great morning was had by all.
