Guess what my better connection looked kindly on us and we had amazing weather again. I called Hannes (Steers) at 18h30 and confirmed we were leaving with 45 people.... I guess Hannes started cooking and when we arrived at the Steers opposite the Lord Charles hotel the burgers were ready. Last time we misjudged the distance and this time I was adament about seeing the sun set. We worked our way through the suburbs and up to road to the Steenbras pump station. There were two other cars parked there and when they saw all the 4x4's they ducked..we then had the place entirely to ourselves. Everyone chilled out, relaxed and watched the sun set...yes we did make it this time. By 22h00 the air was still warm and slowly the crowd started leaving and we all made our way home.
