Club Meeting - 21st May 2008 We held another of our quarterly club meetings at Outdoor Warehouse in May. As the day got closer I checked weathersa and oops it looked like rain. RSVP's were slow but with the calibre of our speakers and guests the RSVP's started rolling and soon we had 198 people attending. Keeping in mind that it was cold and rainy this was our second biggest turnout EVER. Rudi pulled out all stops and did a presentation on Oman after a recent visit to attend a Land Rover workshop. He was kitted it in the full Middle Eastern garb and did a great job. We also had presentations by Winelands 4x4 on their new Eco offroad caravan, Jan Marais on his MyWay tents, Johann on the Toureg, Ian on some new braai equipment, Greg showed us the new Tyre Dog tyre pressure monitoring system, the new mini Spotlight and the Weejon. The evening finished off with a great video of some club activities. The filming, editing and final compilation was done by Morne Stevens. Once again we had a very successful meeting.
