Flower Day Trip - 24th August 2008 The annual flower trip took place just as Spring was about to pop it's head out of the clouds and although the day dawned cloudy after a hearty Wimpy breakfast we were on the back roads to Laaiplek. Initially the flowers where nowhere to be seen but around Hopefield the flowers made their appearance and we stopped many time to take pics of the awesome carpet that nature provided. The sun shone now and again and soon we were in Laaiplek. We secured a spot near the old jetty and a picnic lunch was enjoyed by all. Greg
