Dear Members Well Spring is here and hopefully the weather will be a little more predicatable. During August the Mozambique tour returned after what I hear was an amazing trip, we had a Special Interest outing to Atlantis for our German members where we took some guests from Germany to see our "Sahara", Ian and Veronica have returned from their overlanding trip to the UK, Rudi's trip to the Cedeberg, Russell had his very successful Ladies Drive (for women's day), the Bridgestone 4x4 Night Challenge took place last weekend with some club members participating and all the marshals were club members, Andy Brown has joined the committee, Viv has managed to secure a date for Buffelspoort, Philip's Ox Wagon trip is almost full, Andy Faber has a few places on his Koeberg Dune Day trip, Our West Coast Flower Trip was great, The November West Coast Long Weekend Trip is full, Loeriesfontein was great and our meeting at Outdoor Warehouse went well. So if you were not involved then walk to the mirror have a good look at the guilty party and say "I will become more active!" Midweek Madness will start again this month (September) now that the weather is improving, watch for the email. Our end of the year meeting at Outdoor Warehouse is going to be awesome and we are expecting 300 people to attend so be there. The Interest Groups have been quiet during the winter (except for the Photographic Group) and so the action in the Interest Groups and especially the Boating Group will start again soon.
