Dear Members We have had the first of our winter storms and the first snow has fallen and so I suppose that winter is here. Two outings have been postponed due to the weather (as always happens in winter) but with the fantastic weather on Sunday the Atlantis Dune trip was a big success, thanks Hein. Atlantis is always a winner and there are a few more trips planned during the remainder of the year. There will be training for members again during the winter months and these courses will be emailed on my return in mid July. I spoke to Alan from our Gauteng branch and they are well on their way to Serengeti and the excitement of experiencing the migration is contageous. Clive is on the Wild Coast and Andy Brown's Botswana Adventure departs in August. Gloria and I are leaving on Monday to visit an old friend (he and I were in Grade 1 together in 1967) in London and then we are going travelling with him. I will be back at the PC mid July but will post some pics if I have a chance. Have a great July vacation and drive carefully.
