Dear Members We have just returned from our September Richtersveld trip with crazy temperatures of up to 42 degrees. What a trip, a fantastic crowd and peace and quiet. The Zimbabwe trip was fantastic and I got a quick update from Andy Brown while sitting at Mugg and Bean at the airport while he was waiting for his flight to Joburg. Today is the NSRI day outing and I trust you will have fun driving more sand dunes, albeit different ones. Next weekend is the Breakfast Run and Flower Trip - I hope we find some flowers as my trip back through Namaqualand did not produce much except a few blommies next to the road. The Springbok Cafe has photos of carpets of flowers which were seen in August some years ago and we are hoping to see that abundance soon. Boot Sale will be at Land Rover N1 City on the 30th October from 12 noon till late - private sales can get a spot for free and businesses pay R200 per site. Please note the items must be offroad/outdoor related.
