Midweek Madness - February 2011 For the first Midweek Madness of 2011 we decided to use Chris's farm with the island as it is always a great venue. We all met at the Engen on the N7 and then made our way towards Atlantis. Just before Atlantis we were met at the gate of the farm by Chris who led us to the parking and the bridge to the island. The island as we all know it is an island that Chris built in the middle of the farm dam with an un-guarded bridge crossing to the island with it's pretty lapa and 8 fires that Chris had already started. As it was the first Midweek Madness of 2011 everyone was full of stories and we all ended up braai-ing rather late. The evening was fantastic and we chatted while the meat was cooking over the open fire. Since the next day was a work day we started to pack up just before 10 pm and slowly wend our way home. This was another one of those nights to remember.
